I just ordered a pair of these radios from AliExpress. I have the BF-T18 version, which I really like and was able to program with the software provided only after requesting it from Ali. The software says it's for the BF-Series, so hoping it'll also work with the T17. Wish I could post a D/L link for you guys, but whenever I do, my comments are removed.

Hi Jes I've never actually seen the radio that your using before so I've written down the name of the radio and I'm with Amazon so I think that I'll order one when I next get paid mate and maybe one of those speaker microphones as well so thanks for the tips mate and I'll go ahead and buy one mate OK. Much easier with usb-cable and terraterm software and serial port communication. However, many thanks for your efforts! By the way, same procedure for 6200, the new one.

The price of amps is ridiculous , I'm been trying to get one from Moonraker and BANGGOOD, but BANGGOOD do one which you can only put ABOUT 2to 3 watts into it, so no good for me, RM do better stuff and finally I got hold of someone on the radio and they got a RM 300 with a pre amplifier. For half the price.thanks for your channel ALAN 💯👍

Some of mine are doing the same thing, and the oldest one which I've had for about 3 years now is fine, it's just like one of your subscribers said you get the back light ones and some are more durable than others. I’ve got a stack of Motorola GP388’s (50+) here with worn button legends. It’s not just the more modestly priced stuff. At least you can get the membrane fairly easily for those though.

The Kuntz don't make their keypads durable. There is a difference between the backlit keys and the printed ones

nice , but its very slow at scanning ..is their a way to make it go faster ? its like 25-30 minutes to go from 400mhz to 500 mhz
